Misplaced Landscapes
This series consists of images taken from Flickr when the majority of Flickr was truly amateur photos. For this series search paramaters were focused onteh everyday, or 'bad' photos. The background photos were found using the paramaters of American West from car. These 'bad' photos I then modified to speak of the American Sublime, looking at color and atmosphere. Converged with the background are images of single trees taken places outside the us and again utilizing throw away photos.
All images are Glicee prints 22"x30". 2007-2008.
